Membership
The members of Cedar River Bowmen extend a cordial invitation to you to consider membership in our organization and join us in the promotion of the sport of archery. We feel that we have one of the finest archery ranges anywhere with facilities that both the tournament archer and bowhunter can enjoy.
We are presently on a new 40-acre site near Black Diamond, just off the Enumclaw-Franklin Road. We expect to have both a field side and animal side. Work in the years ahead will develop our trails, flat range and broadhead range. We will also work on a clubhouse, barbecue and picnic areas and camping spots. Here are just a few of the benefits a membership in CRB will bring to you:
The application includes a questionnaire to help us get to know you. Your membership is approved after your application is received and your payment clears the bank. If you would like any further information, please call the membership chairman listed at the bottom of the application itself.
Please choose ONE of the following categories of membership (Regular, Senior, Military, or Sponsored Junior) and make out your check to CEDAR RIVER BOWMEN for the full amount required for that category of membership (see application form for amount). If you are a Senior (over 60) or full time military, your annual dues are half the regular member amount.
Regular Membership is the standard membership of Cedar River Bowmen. Applicant's spouse and children under the age of 18 and living at the same address are included in regular membership status. Members are expected to attend the Annual Club Meeting, historically held the 2nd Thursday of January at 7:30 p.m. Service on committees as requested, and contribution of time and labor at work parties, tournaments, and other club functions is also vital for the club to be healthy.
Senior Membership is for those members who are over the age of 60 years. Either the member or spouse may be over 60 to be eligible for Senior membership. The annual dues for Senior status are half the dues of Regular membership.
Military membership is for those archers who are active duty military. Spouse and children under 18 years old are included in the membership.
Sponsored Junior Membership is for archers under 18 years of age whose parents or legal guardians are not already club members. They must be sponsored by an adult member in good standing who will agree to be responsible for them. A key to the range is not issued to Junior members, they do not have voting privileges.
